TSHN accepted as a constituent member of the agricultural cluster
TSHN – The Soil Health Network – is a founding member Part of the new Austrian Foreign Ministry agricultural clusters.
With the cluster, a new platform is being created for strategic exchange between Agriculture, Science, Economy, Technology and international partners, to better network and showcase future topics in agriculture and the food industry internationally.
Focus on soil health, innovation, and international cooperation
TSHN particularly brings forward the topics:
- Soil health
- Regenerative agriculture
- Digital measurement and assessment approaches
- Ecosystem services
- as well as international innovation and living lab approaches
Enter the dialogue.
The aim is to foster new collaborations, network international developments at an early stage, and further strengthen Austria as a location for innovation in the field of sustainable agriculture and soil systems.
Bridge between practice, science and new business models
A particular focus of TSHN is on the connection between:
- scientific research,
- agricultural practice,
- Digitalisation,
- Funding and
- new economic models around soil health and resilience.
Particularly with regard to climate change, security of supply and sustainable agriculture, the question of how soil health can be measured, compared and economically integrated in the long term is gaining importance.
International Perspective
Participation in the agricultural cluster also supports the international orientation of TSHN. TSHN is currently working on, among other things, a project funded by the FFG Impact Innovation funded project on the topic of:
„Soil Health, Measurement, and Financing through Ecosystem Certificates“
as well as in the preparation of an international living lab approach for Austria.
TSHN looks forward to actively shaping the future development of the cluster and, together with partners, driving new impulses for resilient and sustainable agricultural systems.
